MS-8800 Two Component Silicone Sealant For Insulating Glass

DESCRIPTION

MS-8800 Two Component Silicone Sealant For Insulating Glass is a specialized product specifically developed for insulated glass applications. It is a two-component, room temperature neutral curing silicone sealant. It has high performance specifications making it suitable for secondary seal insulating glazing. It features excellent weathering resistance, durability, sealing and adhesion.

CHARACTERISTICS

1. High strength, good bonding performance, and low air permeability.

2. Excellent weather resistance, aging resistance.

3. Exhibits outstanding high and low temperature resistance.

4. Excellent adhesion to most building materials.

5. Component A of this product is white, component B is black, and the mixture appears black.

MAIN USE

Secondary sealing in a dual-sealed insulating glass unit.

USE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Clean with solvents such as toluene or acetone to keep the substrate surfaces completely clean and dry.
2. Filling out the gaps and edges to ensure two-side binding.
3. Cover outside of joint areas with masking taps before application.
4. For better appearance, trim the edges before the sealant solidified.
5. Construct in environment with good ventilation.

USE RESTRICTIONS

1. It should not be used as a structural sealant.

2. Not suitable for the surface of materials that will seep grease, plasticizer or solvent.

3. Not suitable for frosted or wet surfaces and places soaked in water or wet all the year round.

4. The surface temperature of the substrate should not be below 4°C or above 40°C during application.

SAFETY RECOMMENDATION

1. The silicone sealant will release volatile compound during curing, it may be bad to health if you breathe in the volatile compound for a long time. So please ensure adequate ventilation at the workplace or curing area.
2. The cured silicone sealant will not release any harmful substance and cause any damage to human body.
3. Keep uncured silicone sealant beyond children's reach. If getting into eyes, wash with running water for several minutes, and then consult a doctor.

PACKING

Component A: 190L, 260kg in iron drum; Component B: 19L, 20kg in plastic pail.

TRANSPORTATION

This product is transported by non-dangerous goods.

STORAGE

1. Keep in dry, cool and well-ventilated area. Keep away from heat source and direct sunlight during storage.

2. When stored at the temperature of 5℃-25℃ in the original unopened container, it has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture.
